Merge PDF

Merge several PDF files into a single document, in the order you prefer

Select the PDFs

Everything happens in your browser. Files are never sent to any server.

Ready to merge?

You added 0 file(s). Adjust the order in the list beside using the controls if needed.

Add at least 2 files to enable the button.

What it is

The PDF Merger joins several PDF files into one, in the order you choose, without installing software and without uploading anything.

How to use it

  1. Add the files, dragging them in or picking them from your device.
  2. Put them in order. Drag the thumbnails until the sequence is the one you want. This is the step people skip and then regret.
  3. Merge and download the single file.

Where this actually comes up

Almost always paperwork. A form that must be sent as one attachment, when the scanner produced one PDF per page. A set of receipts for an expense claim. Contract pages signed at different times. A portfolio assembled from separate exports. An application that accepts exactly one file.

Your documents never leave your device

This deserves attention here more than in most tools, because the files people merge are contracts, medical records, invoices and identity documents.

The merge runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, nothing is stored, and nobody can see the contents. Free online PDF services frequently do the opposite: they receive your file, process it on their infrastructure and keep it for a period stated somewhere in their terms. Here there is no such period, because there is no copy.

What is kept and what is not

Page content, images and text are preserved exactly. Bookmarks and form fields from the original files may not survive the merge, which is normal for this kind of operation and worth checking if the document has fillable fields.

To do the opposite and pull pages out of a PDF, use the PDF splitter. To turn images into a PDF first, use JPG to PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The merge runs entirely inside your browser, so the files never leave your device and no copy is kept anywhere. That is the main difference from most free online PDF services.

Can I choose the order of the files?

Yes, and you should. Drag the thumbnails into the sequence you want before merging, because the order you set is the order of the final document.

Is there a limit on the number or size of files?

We set no limit. The practical ceiling is your device's memory: very large scans on an older phone can take a few seconds.

Do form fields and bookmarks survive?

Page content, text and images are preserved exactly. Bookmarks and fillable form fields may not carry over, so check the result if your document relies on them.
