What is it
Mirrored and Reverse Text is a free online tool that takes any phrase, word or name you type and returns different versions of it: inverted text (read backwards) and mirrored text, made with special characters from the unicode standard that imitate the appearance of letters "turned upside down".
In practice, there are two similar but different effects:
- Text backwards (inverted): the letters change order. For example, the word "house" becomes "home". The reading changes, but each letter remains normal.
- Mirrored text: in addition to changing the order, each letter is replaced by a unicode symbol similar to the reflected version, as if you were looking at the sentence in a mirror.
It's the same joke that many people see in game nicknames, social media bios and comments. The tool works directly in your browser, without installing anything and without having to create an account.
How to use
Using it is very simple and the results appear immediately:
- Type or paste the text you want to transform into the indicated field.
- See the automatically generated versions: the inverted and mirrored versions appear below, ready to check.
- Click copy on the version you liked best.
- Paste wherever you want: in a game username, in your Instagram or TikTok bio, in a WhatsApp message or in a comment.
If the text looks strange somewhere where you pasted it, don't worry: this usually happens because the target app or website doesn't display all unicode characters in the same way. In this case, test the other version (inverted instead of mirrored, for example).
Tips
- Prefer names and short phrases for nicknames: they are more legible and eye-catching.
- Before publishing on an important profile, paste it in a draft to see if the characters appear correctly on your device.
- Combine mirrored text with stylized letters and emojis to make your bio look like you.
- Since everything is processed in your own browser, you can test as many variations as you want, with no limit and no cost.
